After a short time travel into the future from 2011 to 2012, I welcome all those who made it from a year that saw the shilling at an all time high, recession and inflated interest rates, fuel shortage and hicking by the pertoluem cartels, doctor striking, the rugby world cup which fianlly was lifted by the newzelanad team-All blacks, jicho pevu highlighting that drugs are the real deal and mobs are not only in italy but also in Kenya, rubgby on a sluggish start with the new coach.....th0se are some of the most memorable events that surrounded the media.

In commemoration all of them and turning over a new leaf I certainly hope that most if not all of you left behind and came into a new year in style be it with family or friends. i am fairly certain from most of the tweett and status updates most of you were at the coast, I even thoght no one was left in Nairobi. Cc:
I on the other hand did not have any any plans whatso ever, family tradition dictates from past experiences that we all scatter to whatever location that we would enjoy ourselves so in translation no one was home.
Thank God to good friends who showed up at my place in a Pajero, Red label, Bluemoon, Viceroy and a slightly modified Sir edward( Furaha brandy) and i am certainly sure i have left out some drink because everyone had thier poison and memory lose after all that and more was certain to have occured. The car being part of our crew was also very much high on a lot of fuel(just in case the cartels mentioned earlier would have decided to pull one on us.
In the car Twittter handler @sebby12th (thats me) @boggymax(designated driver) @hussd (read the name upside down and for sure he was the all happy one) and Jimmy(not too tec oriented, own a 1200 nokia but was the red label hander. The crazy pack came for me and if i would tell you all the details leading to the next day i would be regressing to last year.
So on the 1st of january 2012 we were all kite high at blix-karen parting in style to the new year, i would not have wanted it any other way. The joint was filled to capacity but the Pajero being a crucial member of the crew we secured a well situaated packing whle jamming on the take care album since i was riding short gun, the power of the radio had been bestowed to me.........
Beer at hand while strolling outside i found a V.I.P section, passed the bouncer left him addressing himself, the place was so dead and i wondered what was the big deal and get this drinks at the place were a bit more expensive. Before he could even drag me out, i dragged myself out so that i wouldn't miss were the party was really at, with the common people just like me. Living above my means is just not my style and its a level of pretence that isnt envious on anyone. Ofcourse after that day, i was like a vampire, sun too bright, senstivity to noise was heightened, craving to feed meat(am obviously refering to vampires on Vampire diaries and NOT Twighlight because i cant glitter plus that too gay).

I hadnt realised what the V.I.P section was all about.
Last year( had to do that atleast this once) so last year got to meet Mark Masai at a certain joint, it was all good. He had a low sattle vybe and just chilaxed with friends with a hat on. The booth we had sat was adjusent to some ladies who were out to have a good time, make up,dresses with glitter and short ones, nice well done NATURAL hair, heals. They were looking really good. Dancing around, other guys kept hovering around the place to try their luck. Just before anyone could they caught wind that in our booth Mark Masai was there. For each and every other guys' hopes to have anything with the ladies went down the drain. They turned jelly around the guy. I was such an emasculating scene but thinking about it, if Janet Mbugua was to appear in such a scene, all eyes would have been on her rest assured or atleast my full attention would no lie.
So i guess V.I.P has it use but its not for everyone just a selected few and i definately dont rank there just yet. I like interaction with differnt people and the more the merrier. Those who are V.I.p status though shouldn’t put up dismal mannerism such a Baraza really. Such type who have ‘god’ complex of the type should come back down to reality but mad respect to Mark, it isnt his fault(no homo).
Cheerz blogsphere and a Happy New Year.
