Twitter use for dummies

Those books that seem to teach like every American in movies,just ripped a page on how to....use twitter. This is a self help guide to joining the movement & invite you into a new world for all you millennials.
Smh .....at myself after learning what the acronym actually stood for. (Shaking my head) .

So many of us were accustomed and fell to the Facebook buzz & hype among other things like 2go & nimbuzz which have over time become irrelevant to most who are of sophistication at least. Just like those guys getting wind on planking or 'ujinga ni' they are left over for face book guys to finally catch on or let on on an already past joke.

Twitter has gained momentum and rivaled Facebook such that I have to give props considering things like 2go are already fossils maybe even part of the oil that's been discovered in Turkana.
Anyway we aren't all tech oriented people but to be clear some things like using twitter don't have a manual & so many people are missing out on the party going on & am whiling to include everyone hence this how to get in the hype that just keeps maintaining itself. want everyone (at least those who read my blog) to post which is way out of my comfort zone.
First things first on twitter one gets a twitter handler name and has to have an @
.example @sebby12th which is mine( feel free to follow me and inquire on stuff). When search & finding friend all you do is you have to follow them and all their thoughts would be streaming on the home page just as on Facebook when updating their statuses. When you follow someone,if they don't have some security setting & if your kanye west who apparently follows back one person or used to there would be no notification alerting them so its common courtesy if you want them to follow you back to Harsh tag & write #nf meaning 'now following'. When you harsh tag any wording its like highlighting what you are talking about & usually if you follow to many people you may get jumbled up by the many tweets & forget the initial conversation with a particular person & the unique highlighting comes in handy. helps since when someone replies the highlighted bit would automatically be in the reply for example.....
Other terminologies include #nw -now watching, #np now playing. Rt mean retweeted,unlike Facebook posting comments people retweet interesting stuff and if there is still space considering tweeps utilize 140 characters then you can add a smarmy take or comment for example..

Some apps like write-longer help people like me who gats lots to say a tweet at a time to write more than 140 characters.
Replying a tweet is as simple as clicking the arrow above a tweet and sending a direct message ,the envelope would be your best bet. That the merger knowledge I have of twitter & certainly helped me a lot so explore that exploration side of you but when someone tweets you back then it will appear on mentions. Other acronyms used are such like QT when you RT means quoting someone while you re tweet them. TL is twitter list like checking the people you are annoyingly following you LQTM.laughing quietly to myself:) STFU..shut the fuck up, ROTFLMAO...Rolling On The Floor Laughing My Ass Out.
Secret though whenever in a pickle Google search engine would be your best if you cant read such a post. Though mine is raw experience.
